For example, once you reach level 500, you can use the No-Life Rod, and if you make it all the way to level 1000, you’ll unlock the legendary Serafic Rod!
But it’s not just about fishing—there’s also a whole collection challenge. Every fish you catch gets added to your bestiary, and if you complete entire sets of fish, you’ll earn special rewards. You can even trade with other players to get the fish you’re missing, making collecting a fun mix of skill, strategy, and teamwork.

When you first start, you’ll likely struggle to catch rare or large fish. But don’t worry—selling fish to the Merchant Brothers gives you money to get new rods and start catching better fish. Here’s a quick breakdown of the gameplay:
Fishing
Use rods and bait to catch fish. Fish rarities range from trash to exotic, mythical, and secret.
Appraising
Visit the Appraiser to check the true value of your fish. Fish can also mutate, which affects their price.
Exploring
Travel between islands by boat (purchased with in-game money or Robux) or by completing quests. Each island has unique fish and challenges.
Events
Participate in shark hunts to catch Megalodons, Great White Sharks, Whale Sharks, and more.
There are also limited events like animal pools and the Nessi which is out of the game currently.
Treasure Hunting
Find treasure maps and find sunken chests for special rewards.
💸 How Much Does It Cost?
The base game is free to play on ROBLOX. However, there are optional gamepasses and Robux purchases that can speed up your progress by increasing your luck, XP gain, or money earned. These aren’t necessary but can make the experience smoother for players who want to level up quickly.

FISCH starts off a bit tough—especially when you’re stuck with a basic rod and catching low-value fish. But once you start upgrading, the game becomes much more enjoyable. With some patience and exploration, it gets easier to earn money, catch rare fish, and access better areas.
